EPIDEMIOLOGICAL STUDIES IN THE PRACTICE OF A PARASITOLOGIST

At the turn of the 80-90 years the twentieth century, a new direction was formed – clinical epidemiology, which using epidemiological research methods, biostatistics and decision analysis allows you to get a scientifically based characterization of the usefulness of diagnostic and therapeutic methods. The goal of clinical epidemiology is the development and application of such methods of clinical observation that allow you to draw informed conclusions, avoiding the effects of systematic and random medical errors.
